What We Do

SHARE Agriculture Foundation is an effective Canadian non-profit charity organization. SHARE stands for Sending Help and Resources Everywhere.

SHARE provides funding and guidance to community-based agricultural projects in third world countries, with a focus on Central America and South America. Currently we have projects in Brazil, Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras.

Our projects are in the poorest, most isolated communities. These communities are often made up of refugees who have left their homelands due to war and poverty. SHARE chooses communities where the projects will have the greatest impact.

SHARE Agriculture Foundation provides funding, guidance, and expertise to community based agricultural projects in developing countries around the world but with a particular focus on Central and South America.
SHARE is based on the principle of a "hand-up" rather than a "hand-out". To be considered for funding, a project must demonstrate sustainability. The focus is to increase a community's capacity to care for itself.
